Seven artists from seven states bring their latest work to Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles for The Jury Is In, April 16 through July 3, 2016. The Jury Is In features award-winning artists who have juried the prestigious Quilt Visions biennial in past years. Quilt Visions is an international, juried exhibition of contemporary art quilts. Beginning in 1987, Quilt Visions has exhibited the most accomplished quilt artists in the world.

Meet the artists at the opening reception April 16th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Admission to the reception is $7, free admission for Visions Art Museum members. Light refreshments and wine will be served.

Each of these seven artists will be showing four or five works: Liz Axford, Sue Benner, Judith Content, Patty Hawkins, Patricia Malarcher, Jan Myers-Newbury, and Kent Williams. They have been the subject of numerous solo shows, invitational exhibitions and juried competitions garnering accolades from around the globe.

Visions Art Museum is located in the arts district of Liberty Station, 2825 Dewey Road, San Diego, California, USA. Museum hours are Tuesday — Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission to the exhibitions is $7, Visions Art Museum members enjoy free admission.
