CREAM Award

The CREAM Award, (Cathy Rasmussen Emerging Artist Memorial Award) is awarded by The Studio Art Quilt Association to an artist with a work in a Quilt Visions exhibition for the first time. The CREAM Award is so named in memory of SAQA's first executive director, Cathy Rasmussen. For the board of directors of SAQA the jurors chose Leslie Joan Noble-Riley as the recipient of this year's award for her work Plaid Construction #3.
